Terms of Use
By installing or using the Gold Price mobile application (the “app”), published by MetalFlow, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, uninstall the app and stop using it.
1. What the app is
The app displays indicative spot prices for gold, silver, platinum and palladium, a unit converter, a private portfolio tracker and price alerts. Data is provided by the MetalFlow API (metalflowapi.com).
2. Not financial advice
The information presented is for general information only. Spot prices may differ from the bid/ask prices you pay at a dealer or exchange. The app is not a broker, does not execute trades, and does not provide financial, legal or tax advice. You are solely responsible for any investment decisions you make.
3. Accuracy and availability
We try to keep prices fresh but cannot guarantee they are correct, complete or available at all times. Network outages, API errors, maintenance or bugs may produce stale, missing or inaccurate values. Always verify with an authoritative source before transacting.
4. Your account data
The portfolio, alerts and settings you create are stored only on your device. We do not back them up. If you uninstall the app, wipe your device, or clear app data, these values are gone permanently. Export them yourself if you need a backup.
5. API key and proxy
If you provide your own MetalFlow API key or configure a proxy URL, you are responsible for the cost and abuse protection of those credentials. We recommend rotating keys regularly and configuring the optional Cloudflare Worker proxy described in-app.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or tamper with the app except as permitted by law.
- Use the app to harass, scrape third-party APIs abusively, or otherwise violate applicable law.
- Resell or redistribute the app without written permission.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its source code, branding and UI are owned by MetalFlow. Price data is owned by its respective upstream providers, licensed to MetalFlow.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as-is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetalFlow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the latest version lives at https://gold.metalflowapi.com/terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Vilnius, Lithuania.
